Trek and paddle all day..

What a day! Talk about ‘play outside’ first of all I met up with my running buddies for a fantastic run along part of the new ‘Great Walk’ section of trail from Apple tree Park on Springbrook Plateaudown to Numinbah valley and return via 800 hand made stairs, losing and gaining around 1600m elevation.

Crossing some fantastic rivers and seeing one of the prettiest valleys in the country.

Shannan posing..

having a crack at the karate kid pose.

The recent rain has filled the creeks.

Caine didn’t know why he was a little light headed until he found this Leech having a feed after the run.

After the de leeching Alana was a little freaked out..

After the morning Trail outing I headed back down the coast to Currumbin Ally and met up with the Tower 22 Paddle group.

We headed south from our meeting point to Cabarita Beach for a 30km return paddle.

Conditions where pretty good with a 15knot S/E Breeze and about 1.5/2m swell.

Good Quality paddlers again today with Bruce Taylor out first in 1hr42, Jeremy Cotter 1hr45, Mat Rees 1hr.50, Myself at 1hr55, and Cory Jones 1hr 58.

Andrew Paul, Ash Martin, Rowdy, Paul Navaro and Ryan Moffat all paddled under 2hrs but Left 5min earlier so I didn’t get their times.

Good Day Outside.

Cheers

GA
