After a long and succesful surf Ironman career I became more interested in my developing driving passion and pursued more automotive opportunities.
Over the years I have been in front of many TV cameras with thousands of Interviews and Television shows.
Some notable Made for TV events such and Channel Nines ‘test of the toughest’, Land Rovers Global G4 Challenge, China’s Yunnan TV’s ‘The Crunch’
In 1996 I was invited to film an episode of Bay Watch in California, this really spiked my interest in Film, movie industry and Stunt performing.
2001 I enrolled in Acting school for three months whilst recovering from some bone breaks from a cycling accident.
In 2008 I started driving for Warner Brothers Movie World in the Car show ‘Hollywood Stunt Driver”. My previous car racing history in events such as Bathurst 3hr Production car, Targa Tasmania, Commodore Cup and Land Rover G4 Challenge, carried me through the many rounds of auditions and into one of the Ten positions offered.

In 2009 I completed my Stunt Performer Grading, having to prove competency in the following four areas.
- Body Control
- Water
- Vehicles
- Heights
Thankfully my experience in International adventure races and corporate adventure trips helped with some of the height requirement.
My professional Surf Ironman career created excellent water skills so along with my background in stunt driving and racing I was getting close!
That left body control which came with some solid work at the FIST stunt academy and Southport gymnastics school.
Below is my successful Grading Application Video hope you enjoy.
